Church on the Ancient Path: Children

Hello Parents! We are still in need of volunteers to help with the Kid's each Sunday! Summer is coming and we will be doing something fun and different this summer. Kids Church, come join us and see what we will be doing during this wonderful season.

Nursery (ages 0-1 years): We have an awesome baby staff that will take great care of these little ones, and some age-appropriate toys and equipment for them to play with during the service. We have also recently added a pager system, so you can sit in the service with no worries. We can page you if anything is needed for your little one.

Toddlers: (ages 2 and 3 years): For this class we have age appropriate toys and a breif lesson for the kids. We play games, do color pages, and have music time.

Preschoolers: (ages 4 years to kindergarten): We have started our new curriculm and it seems to be going very well. Each week the kids get a story, bible verse to learn and a fun craft to do. We also do age appropriate worksheets. We start with fun worship music and then teachers tell a story and have fun activities that help teach the lesson to this age group. We usually have a snack and play time at the end of the class.

Primary School (ages 1st and 2nd grades): We have started our new studies in this group as well. In this class we aslo start with fun worship music and then teachers tell a story and have fun activities that help teach the lesson to this age group. Upper Elementary (3rd to 6th grade): We have recently made some changes here as well, seperating the boys and girls class. This group usually stays in the service until after worship and then are dismissed to their class. They have great discussions from lesson taken straight from the Bible and talk about issues that kids this age deal with on a daily basis. It is very interactive and fun.
